Thunderbird: Email content in SEARCHES shows "server not found" but those emails in INBOX appear normally

Hi, all, Over the past few days I have had a bizarre problem. If I click an email in my INBOX, it opens normally and is readable. But if the same email appears in a SEARCH, then when I click on it, instead of its content, I get "Server not found."

This is not consistent. Most emails work normally but every once and a while the search fails as I have described. I have tried restarting Thunderbird, rebuilding the Inbox folder, restarting in Troubleshooting Mode. None of these had any effect on the problem.

Thunderbird 91.9.0, IMAP, on a Mac running system 12.3.1

Anyone have any ideas?
