Hi,

i am having a rather weird and persistent issue. When I try to open a specific website, namely www.westend61.de, this Firefox tab crashes, as seen in the provided screenshot. With a normal website this wouldn't bother me so much, but this page is the main page of the company I work for, and therefore I and potential customers must be able to reach it. That being said, this does not necessarily have to be a Firefox problem, the issue could also be on the server side. But the website works on other computers, other operating systems and other browsers. As far as I know, the website works fine, this computer using this browser being the only exception. I worked my way through the Firefox support page:

- checked for newer firefox version - checked for newer compatible MacOS version - checked for newer graphics driver - disabled all firewall, anti virus software - started firefox in Safe Mode - reinstalled firefox & deleted all profile data - disabled hardware acceleration - set webgl.disabled to true - again safe mode

The tab crashes every time. This computer is an old End 2015 iMac running Monterey and the newest Firefox. - More information can be found in the troubleshooting information and the crash report: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/bb11e42d-9fc9-4061-b89c-4c6400220503

Thank you very much.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

It seems that i have found the solution.

I opened the Firefow network analysis tool and reloaded the website a couple of times. The file "Arquitecta-Black-08d81eb3639bcfd9a3411d72a76d70c7.woff2" was often the last or among the last files to be downloaded from the site.

So I downloaded and installed the complete Arquitecta Font Family, restarted Firefox and voilà the website works completely fine. So no Firefox issue, rater a MacOs issue or corrupted font files.

Thank you very much!!

I have several versions of Firefox and had no problem.

Has anyone else reported problems with that webpage?

The bug report mentions 'Japanese keyboard layout' What keyboard layout are you using?

Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox {web link}

Remove a single website from your history {web link}

Open the History Manager <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any site settings And Passwords.

For clarification, this website is our company's website. We have a lot of costumers and employees using the site on a daily basis. The last time we had such a similar problem was on an old End 2013 iMac. The solution at the time was to downgrade Firefox and just not upgrade.

Currently using a German keyboard layout, but also tried an english one without any change.

Also deleting the browsing history and "forget about this site" did not help.

Also I just tested the site on a very similar machine, also iMac End 2015 with Firefox 99.0.1 and had no problems. Only difference I saw to the problematic machine: working machine: Monterey 12.301 - 8GB Ram problem machine: Monterey 12.3.1 - 16GB Ram
