I have a user who runs SRS/Crystal Reports on their Windows 11 Lenovo laptop, but every time we go to the website where a Java-enabled pop-up window for viewing spreadsheets is supposed to load we keep getting a "A plugin is required to play this content" error message, but no option to install/approve the running of Javascript.

I have downloaded and installed the JRE and JDK on the endpoint device, but still no luck getting Firefox to load it. I am running the 32-bit version of the web browser, not 64-bit, so I am kind of stumped about how to proceed from here.

Is there a place I can manually download/install these Java plug-ins?

Posting from a Mac laptop - was working on a user's Windows 11 laptop.

Was able to resolve this issue by checking with my senior counterpart - there was one URL that wasn't listed in the setup that needed to be whitelisted in the "Configure Java" window, so my mistake for not checking with him first to confirm.

Check your whitelist URLs folks, don't be like me. Marking this issue as solved.

Your help list mac but your talking Windows? This is confusing what is going here. Are they really using FF50 version? It's possible that older version of FF used java legacy but newer version don't use Java. What version of JRE and JDK are you referring to? Java plugins would come from Oracle themselves.
