Hi to all,

I try to open an ics-file from a network source in Thunderbird TB 91.7.0 (32-Bit) WIN 10 Professional

Unfortunately Thunderbird doesn't find any calendar file. I tried it first:

- with https://name.dn/php/folder/folder/file.ics - with http://... - without https://....

always with an error that no calendar file is found at this adress.

Then I tried it without the file name, only the folder https://name.do/php/folder/folder/ In this case TB asked me for the password, take it, but still doesn't find any calendar file. => Link and Login is valid

When I download the file I can import it without any problem => file is valid

When I copy the link https://name.do/php/folder/folder/file.ics to FF the file is been found and opend by the browser without any problem (=> Login and password correct).

So the file exist and seems to be correct and the path, too, also the login data.

Now I tried it to copy the same file in the folder https://name.do/php/ , which is not protected - and the file is found. So there seems to be a (new?) problem with .htaccess-protected folders.

Any idea what (else) I could try?

Thanks and Greetings Chnutz

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Solution

After several more tests I temporarily change the password of the folder. Result: The ics-file is found by TB, after changing it back to the old one, too. Although the content of the htaccess file has not changed.

If anyone has any idea how that can be, I would be grateful :-)

But the problem is solved.
