AFAIK unless your using something like Skype or Zoom - I don't think you can text just directly from a computer.

My phone is a Jethro flip phone (for Seniors). Not connected to the Internet. I pay for talk and text. I receive texts but am unable to reply to them. I reply, I press send, the circle goes around saying sending, then it comes up 'Send Failed'.
