I clicked on "more" in an e-mail and a Firefox page opened.(At least I assumed that it was a Firefox page). There's no apparent way to print the page and there is not even a URL visible. Nothing whatsoever to click on!

I've uploaded a picture of everything that was visible on the monitor. There's nothing to click on above the line of icons at the bottom. This is what appeared after I had clicked on something in an e-mail. The other times it happened was when I clicked on the words "more" or "read more " in an e-mail. It appears that the screen shot is never going to finish uploading. I used a program called WinCopy Screen Capture.

Where is it? Its link?

Please use imgur.com or a similar image host in the future if the image appears to hang on upload

I opened imgur.com but couldn't figure out what to do with it. I regularly use an image viewing program called IrfanView. I tried to figure out how to use the Print Screen key on my Window 10 PC. I think I may have created the image of the screen, but then I couldn't find the folder "screenshots," which is supposed to be in my "pictures" folder. I was trying to follow the instructions in WikiHow. I wondered for a while if this problem was only occurring in one website, but it's now happened in several websites.

Which program do you use to access your email? For example:

  • Firefox (going to your mail website)
  • Windows Mail
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Mozilla Thunderbird
  • something else...

If it is a Firefox window, here are two things to try:

(1) Print keyboard shortcut

Try pressing Ctrl+P to call up the Print overlay (the preview side-by-side with the setup panel). Does Ctrl+P have any effect there?

(2) Context menu

Right-click the page. If no menu appears, try Shift+right-click. If you get the Firefox context menu, click the star icon to bookmark the page. Then you may be able to re-open it in a normal window, although that doesn't always work with popups.

I believe using the Print Screen key copies the screen to the clipboard. From there, you need to Paste it into a picture-type program and then save it.

I prefer to use; Taking a Screenshot; Windows > Start > search box > Snip. Select Snipping Tool. Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot. Save the picture(s) to your desktop, or wherever. Press the Reply button. Then press the Add images; Browse button.
