Firefox 93: I can't even type!
Ever since I updated, typing has become incredibly challenging... There's big delays in the words showing up, letters come out in the wrong places, & it doesn't improve even when I clear cache, clear memory, & refresh pages. I don't know what else to do. Should I delete and re-install Firefox, or replace this with the previous version?

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I did this, and it's still happening.
Then I found this: Delete duplicated Session Restore files
Firefox may be slow to respond or hang if multiple copies of its Session Restore file have been created:
Open your profile folder: From the Help menu, select More Troubleshooting Information. The Troubleshooting Information tab will open. Under the Application Basics section next to Profile Folder, click Show in Finder. A window will open that contains your profile folder. Note: If you are unable to open or use Firefox, follow the instructions in Finding your profile without opening Firefox.
Click the Firefox menu at the top of the screen and select Quit Firefox. Locate and delete the sessionstore.js file and any copies, such as sessionstore-1.js, sessionstore-2.js.
However, when I got to my profile folder, there was NO sessionstore.js file anywhere, much less any copies! And as I read other troubleshooting methods, they're confusing, suggest using different one in various order, and so far, nothing has worked. It's a painful, and laborious process, even trying write this...
Still having a hard time typing, as it's seriously lagging, as is the responsiveness in general, of pages opening, etc. Plus, Firefox is using 20 GBs of RAM! This even after adding Tab Suspender, so all but the front tab in each window aren't even active. What's going on?
Correction, make that 27 GBs of RAM sucked up by Firefox!!
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
