Mis-information, is not only detrimental to one’s credibility, but often effects real-world harm, further lowers quality of life.

Why Firefox insists upon the position that it’s browser-extensions are incompatible with iOS is inconceivable, not to mention dis-ingenuous.

Lately here have been issues surrounding character in relation to the Firefox brand, my former go-to, that have incrementally caused me to explore and develop new browsing tendencies.

And though this is certainly not a deal breaker, it is a lot like the straw that broke the camel’s back.

If y’all sincerely don’t know how to incorporate your extensions into iOS, please email me, and allow me to melt your mind… [email]@outlook.com

If you can contribute to building add-on support into Firefox for iOS, work is done in this repository:

jscher2000 , how are you friend? A unique feature that appeared in iOS 15, is the ability to opt-into browser-extensions from FIREFOX, BRAVE, GHOSTERY, and I think the other is Chrome, simply by sliding a switch about four milli-meters. Ta-daaa

Post Script- I’ll post a few photos of your’s and ghostery’s installed. And though I do freelance, I use these tools to accomplish my purpose whatever that may be, not as perplexing puzzles. Sorry for being a dick, it’s just kind of my bent. You know this really isn’t hard stuff… Some night if you’d like experience technical let me know.

Apparently pictures aren’t an option on this platform, so if in your next email you’d like to provide a return address, which is tasteless and cowardly not to anyways, I will graciously provide you authentication.

You can attach image files to a reply (there's a browse button below the box) if they would help.

It's good news that extensions are supported at the iOS level. A new issue was filed a couple weeks ago in the repository I mentioned before (https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/issues/9155), but I don't know the timeline for getting extensions supported in Firefox for iOS. (It is a separate code base from Firefox for Windows/Mac/Linux and Firefox for Android.)

Unable to add extension superagent to Firefox; doesn’t recognize I have Firefox installed on my iPad. When try to get add on it takes me to install Firefox. Why is it not working? I do have this for safari so wanted to add to Firefox as I have that as my default browser. I am not tech and will likely select another browser as default.

What Firefox does it want you to install? It doesn't sound compatible with Firefox for iOS.
