TB 91.1.2 was installed automatically and all my calendar date is gone. When I try to re-enter they don't stay. When I switch to TODAY and go back to what I just entered it's not there.

This is it - the last question. Promise - not matter what :-) In the file folders pane I have two inboxes one associated with my emaill address and one under Local Folders. There are also duplicate SEnt, Trash folders. All incoming mail goes to the Inbox associated with my email address and I'd prefer it to go to the Inbox under Local Folders.

Ideally I'd like to see the Folders under my email address and the address itself to go away, so all I see are the local folders.

I can live with it the way it is, I'm just trying to visually clean it up.

Are the Inbox and Sent folders under Local Folders ones that were imported from another profile? If so, the messages can be copied to the Inbox and Sent folders of an active POP account. Copying them to an IMAP folder is more complicated. If you want new messages to go to Local Folders, create a filter. Filters can run automatically only on an Inbox, but they can be run manually on any folder. But unless you're careful making changes, leave it as is if it's working.

Found this and it did the trick . . .

I am now back fully functional and just as I was previously, with the exception of all the historical calendar data and I haven't given up on that yet. Next week I'm going to hunt down a donor pc that I can install TB/Lightning on and hopefully be able to get to a backup to work.

I'm a retired IT manager (15 years ago). I earned my chops in the 1980's when pc's were first invented, when we had to write all our own code and did a lot of techie stuff and I loved inventing stuff, like pc based mail, pc networks, etc . . . it was a fun/exciting time. I graduated over time into a management role and sadly all my technical skills like working at the command prompt level and later with early windows .ini files slowly deteriorated - I can't program a TV remote anymore (hahahahah). So on the one hand I kinda know my way around a pc, but sometimes when I'm talking to today's pro's (like you) I'm just blown away and I'll read stuff that just causes my eyes to glaze over and my head to spin. Thus all the hand holding.

Thanks again for all your time and patience - I really appreciate it. In a support role I always used to say that the toughest thing to do is to see and interpret a clients screen through someone elses eyes. I presume that is still true today. Good luck in your future . . .
