Firefox sign in button not working

Firefox sign in button does nothing when clicked. Same happens for the drop down menu and in the settings window. I have all extensions disabled, still nothing happens when I click the sign in button. Perhaps it is a problem with multiple profiles because sign in works when I open Firefox to my alternate profile. I would like to sign in to Firefox through my default profile. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help.

Thanks for the quick responses. All extensions were disabled and no blocking had been activated so I decided to backup my profiles folder and re-install. For some reason my main profile backup didn't load after the re-install, whereas my secondary profile loaded up without issue, bookmarks, extensions and settings all intact. This tells me that something was corrupt in the primary profile backup so I set up a new profile from scratch and voila! I am able to sign in and sync. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Make sure you allow cookies for the accounts.firefox.com domain if you aren't allowing cookies generally or use extensions that deal with cookies.

In case of issues try to login to the Firefox Account via this website.

In case of issues with Sync you can try to disconnect from Sync and Reconnect to Sync again. You can disconnect from Sync by clicking the e-mail address in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list or go to "Options/Preferences -> Sync".
