Take a Screenshot in right click menu stopped working
I updated to ff 91 again. It erased everything I was doing, all the tabs I had open. An item I'd bid on on ebay and had the page open to disappeared. What is up with the new ff version? Where are the tabs. I have rolled back once again.

It is not always safe to downgrade a profile if that is what you did, so you may have to create a new profile. It is also not advised to downgrade to an older Firefox version with known disclosed security vulnerabilities.
What don't you like about the current releases as it might be possible to give suggestions ?
What I saw was no tabs. I always have lots of tabs open. When I opened one it was back on top. I don't want them on top.

You should find a toolbar button in Customise Toolbar, which you can drag to a toolbar or to the Overflow Menu.
Are you using code in userChrome.css to get the tabs below the Navigation Toolbar as that is what you mean with I don't want them on top ?
See this forum response for updated CSS code for Firefox 89+:
Yes, I am using code to get tabs on top. Why isn't there an option for this anymore? What is the big deal that keeps firefox from letting us have our tabs on the top??
The main thing is that I can't get my right click screenshot to work after system restore. If the new ff lets me have all my tabs I will go back to it. The tabs have to be on the bottom though. It is so much faster and easier to see them on the bottom.

Hi Spike, Before answering that question, I think it's important to explain the context. The ability to move tabs below the address bar was removed many years ago, and support for it was dropped many years ago. If someone found a way to move the tab bar using a CSS file, it's essentially a hack. What that means is that even though Mozilla is not continuously trying to maintain the feature and put it through quality assurance testing so that it continues to work, some third-party found a way to do it.
Basically, Mozilla didn't provide that userChrome script, someone else did. If your current script doesn't work on the new version, you will need to find the person from whom you got the script from, and ask them to create a new script for the new version.
userChrome.css and other ways of customizing Firefox that are not exposed in the interface are there for developers, not end-users. If it were intended for end-users, you would see a menu option or checkbox to move the tab bar; you wouldn't have to hack a text file in some hidden location.
I can't understand why firefox can't just make people happy and offer tabs on the bottom. Why such a big deal. It's a huge headache for a lot of us. The hacks work fine.
Are there any messages about screenshots present in the Browser Console, either at startup or when you try to take a screenshot ?
Does taking a screenshot using the developer tools also fail ?
The right click screenshot and the firefox screenshot from add ons and extension doesn't also work. Awesome Screenshot works. But it has so many steps.
The Firefox screenshot feature uses canvas to generate the screenshot image.
Did you check the Web Console like I wrote above ?
Does it help if you disable all extensions ?
There are no messages in the consol that I can see. I can take a picture of the entire page with that camera icon. But the right click Take a Screenshot still doesn't work.

Actually, something not mentioned - control, shift, s brings up the screenshot that no longer works on right click.
