I'm running Big Sur and have run earlier versions of Mac OS X. I have three user accounts on my MacBook Pro early-2015 ( Administration account, primary user account with admin privileges and third account for general use). I have noticed over the past couple of years that any audio playing through the Firefox browser on the third account will be heard when I switch (not logoff) user to either of the other two accounts. This doesn't happen with Quicktime playing audio nor with Safari or Chrome. What could be the cause of this?
