How can I differentiate the top three bars of the browser window. If they are all light gray and I have two or three windows open, it is easy to click the wrong area.

Just some suggestions, one could use

  1. tab groups / container tabs / tab sidebar add-on for a single window and remove the tab bar entirely using userchrome.css
  2. a theme with a color gradient to differentiate color
  3. window tiling (In Windows, drag one Firefox window to the edge of the screen)

Very helpful. I chose the Purple Prism theme and it does what I want. A little wild, but I like it. Thanks for the bookmark reminder also.
