This morning I upgraded to version 90.0 (64-bit). Since then I can no longer respond to posts in, for example, sci.math. I presume this is an incompatibility between Firefox and google security options. Is there a solution or workaround?

Thank you

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

The problem goes much further than I thought. I cannot reply to google calendar invites anymore, a standard survey tool is not working, etc. All I did was to install the update. I made no changes to security settings, preferences, or anything. I would like to go back to the previous version. How do I do that?

Did you try out the instructions I posted?

I think this is the first report I've seen of problems with Google sites, so it could be some accumulated data, settings, or add-ons. If you can test out FredMcD's suggestions, that would be helpful.

While old versions of Firefox are always available, downgrading is not recommended and data transfer between your current and your new profile created in the downgrade may be more work than it's worth if you can find the problem in Firefox 90.

I rebooted my computer. Things worked ONCE, then stopped again. I guess the idea with a cache not being flushed sounds reasonable, but having to flush the cache after every visit to a page?

I called for more help.
