Unable to connect to most sites.
After updating to Firefox version 87 on Mac, nearly every site I try to visit seems to be blocked. There is no warning or explanation shown it just fails to browse to the website. For example, I cannot browse to https://llbean.com. I understand that these websites have all sorts of trackers built-in, but this seems a bit ridiculous. I cannot find an explanation of how to fix this problem that is up-to-date and actually works.

FWIW, I can load the site you mention. Enhanced Tracking Protection is on. If you have chosen 'strict' tracking protection, there is a warning that may cause problems. It's possible, though unlikely, that such sites are listed in your hosts file.
Thanks for your response. I just have Standard Enhanced Tracking enabled, not Strict or Custom. The odd thing is that websites that I have previously bookmarked load with no problem (except for sites that don't have HTTPS enabled). The browser does not complain or give any indication that anything is wrong, it simply will not load many eCommerce sites like Zappos or LLBean, etc. It does not even try to load them.
Could you elaborate on the "hosts" file that you mentioned. I am on a Mac. Where would I find this file.
I searched for "MacOS hosts file". According to one result, it's path is /etc/hosts. That's unlikely to be the source of your issue. Do you have the problem in safe mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
