I have the same mailbox defined on two separate PC's. Can I delete just one of them without affecting the other?

Are you wanting to remove a mail account or just a folder?

If completely removing a mail account from Thunderbird on one computer: This only removes the mail account from Thundrebird on the computer you are using; it does not delete the webmail account. So does not effect the ability for you using an email client on another computer to access same email address on server. Removing the mail account will also mean you cannot see that mail account nor any emails it contained. If you still want to be able to see emails on that computer, then you need to get copies into the 'Local Folders' mail account before removing the mail account.

note: if this is an imap mail account, you can unsubscribe from seeing all the folders you created first and then remove the imap mail account. Do not delete any emails or folders in an imap mail account otherwise they will get deleted off the server and will effect the imap mail account on the other computer.

Right click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' Make sure correct mail account is selected, click on Account Actions and select 'Remove account' Restart Thunderbird.

If just a folder: If this is an imap mail account then you can unsubscribe from seeing a folder that you created. It will still exist on server, so other imap accounts on other computers can still subscribe to see the folder.
