installing new apps or already installed. if I have installed why do they acknowlege that fact instead of keep asking to install?

If you have Firefox got Android set as the default web browser in your Android device, it should be used as the default browser by other apps that you have installed.

I am not sure that I understand your question. How can we help you with Firefox for Android?
OK: Since I requested Firefox as the default on my PC and Android - do other defaults interfere like Goggle (which I need for gmail). Firefox and/or Google ask me to install something I have already installed. Why do they not acknowledge that I already have it? May not know how to ask questions intelligently. Bernice.
