This is not a question, more like a complaint, and DDG sent me here. The word complaint may seem inappropriate for sth like a browser which is the result of thousands of work hours of volunteers. Right? Thanks for that hard work, much respected! Now, I did see that this very subject has already thousands of filed complaints, which naturally means that millions of people are annoyed about the very same thing, one that Firefox introduced some years ago. Fewer than few people even bother to write in, you know that. Because they feel, it's wasted time, "they do anyway what THEY want". Maybe so. I write in, because I have hope. Still. So: What is going on in the minds of "software programmers"/developers... since around the 90ies? Why always this PATRONIZING? Do you really, honestly, seriously, believe that you are any smarter than I am, or my neighbors, or you or your neighbors (you who reads this, probably not those who NEED to read it and act on it) ?? Well, I will say, for sure you are not, you are patronizing. And ADULTS. That's Grotesk! I know perfectly well if I want to visit a site or not. And while I appreciate your concern about my health or what not, leave it at that concern, don't open it up to patronizing. Permanently. Everywhere. It's ridiculous! I will add a screenshot here, so that YOU understand, this time. It documents that these "sw developers" leave NO option at all, even after you click this equally ridiculous "Advanced" button, to open a site YOU want. You as the owner of the computer you are using! Such foolish patronizing is beyond words. To me. To many. I trust that at least words as clear as mine finally open up the minds of those responsible for this permanent annoyance. Yes? We'll see. You're rolling out more updates than people change their pants. So, within a day or two we should see an update that will finally!!! STOP THIS PATRONIZING. Hm? I would never use Chrome, the sniffer of everything. I am sad that Firefox introduces gimmicks all the time, but fails to listen to its user base. What THEY want. And if you don't want to listen to what the users want, then why do you bother to write code for others? Just write for yourself then. Think. Amen. :) ---- You will deserve more praise when you stop this patronizing, this thinking, you are smarter than the rest of us. Not before.
