I don't know why only the latest visit is shown. It's been this way for over a decade. Maybe it was to speed up the window?? Anyway, that why I had jumped to the topic of workarounds earlier.

did youtry to open the History, and viewig the complete history? shortCutKey: cmd+Y there, you may sort them e.g. by date.

or you may load older history as shown in my picture

I am on an imac, so it should look similar.

which date are you looking for, and how far back does your history go? what are your History settings (see Preferences -> Security)

Hi and thank you. Just checked my history settings and it says 'all history' I am looking to go back two days (18th). All I want to see is what sites I visited on that day and it seems to group it all into the seven days.

Yes all I need to know is how view in history the sites I visited on the 18th Feb ? In the menu bar the drop down menu for history only gives the last seven days. But when you look at that there is no grouping of the days. How ? Does anybody know please ?

Here's the problem: Firefox only shows a URL at the date/time of the latest visit. All the earlier visits are hidden, and there's an optional column to see the total number of visits.

On Windows, I use a program named MzHistoryView to pull out a complete list. Unfortunately, they don't have a Mac version. I'm not sure of the best tool for Mac users.

As far as I know, you can't create new date ranges in the Library window. If you are looking at the last seven days category, you can scroll down to the 18th to see what is recorded as having been "last visited" on that day.

Hi Jscher2000 Thanks for your help. So when I go to the 'last seven days' there is no provision or any showing of any date, (this is the problem)

I am on a mac by the way so that provision does not seem available, Have included a screenshot.

Oh! I forgot that you need to customize the columns to add Most Recent Visit. You can use either of these methods:

(1) On the Library menu bar, click the Views button (the icon has three lines of different lengths) then expand Show Columns

(2) Right-click (one button: Ctrl+click) any displayed column heading and choose from the column list

Ok

Got this far, which one do I go for ?

Thank you so much for your help. Yes I guess if you click on the same place again then it puts it up the list and subsequent visits in the past start not to show. Like you say helps speed up the window. That sort of makes sense and has helped me understand what has happened. Thank you again

Hello Just to add. I know what I did. If you go into Library history and actually click on something a few days old, which is what i did. It will take you to that page but it then removes it from its original placing and places it at the top of the current day list. Hurrah got there in the end. Thank you for your help. Much appreciated

Note that you can enable the "Visit Count" column via "Views -> Columns" or via the right-click context menu of the header bar in the Library to see the visit count of a bookmark or history item.
