Do you mean a keyboard shortcut? There isn't a keyboard shortcut. There an optional toolbar button if you want one-click access. It's in the box of available buttons on the Customize tab: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Note that you can use keyboard shortcuts to access toolbar icons.

I'm aware, but that involves extra button presses and takes more time than a normal shortcut. Just looking for the normal shortcut to FF preferences, as most functional apps have, like how ctrl+shift+a goes to add-ons. You'd think it would just be alt+p, ctrl+alt+p, or alt+shift+p, but none of those do anything.

Huh, honestly completely absurd for FF to not have a basic settings keyboard shortcut, especially given that it has one for add-ons and many other less basic things. I just checked to confirm my memory and literally every single other functional app I use on a day-to-day basis has a setting shortcut.

Alt+p, ctrl+alt+p, alt+shift+p are all unused in FF.

You can use the access key for "Tools -> Options" => Alt+T O

That still involves an extra step and so takes slightly more time than a standard shortcut.

Yes, a shortcut, a keyboard shortcut like most functional apps have, is what I'm looking for.

If you need to access Options/Preferences often then maybe open about:preferences as a pinned tab like I have in some profiles.
