hi guys. My computer was running slowly, so I ran the reset programme as you recommend. You say that this doesn't affect stored passwords - but I've lost every single one of mine. and worse, it doesn'tseem to be saving any new ones either.

many thanks

Kathryn Deane

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

You can also check if you have a logins-backup.json, either in the current profile folder or in the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
