Main Menu Is Cut Off for Wayland/Sway
When I open the main menu, the menu is cut off. The lower options can be reached but only by using the scrollbar. How can I prevent this from happening?
I'm running Firefox 83, Sway 1.5.1, Wayland 1.18.0, and Linux 5.9.10.

Separately, I've observed the menu shrink for seemingly no reason. When I start FF, the menu is "right-sized" but after awhile it shrinks to half its size.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
After restarting, the menu is again "right-sized" (Issue #2) but it is still cut off (Issue #1). I don't think hardware acceleration solves anything here. It's the restart that does.

The UI element sizing issue happens when my laptop wakes from sleep. This issue isn't limited to the main menu. All dynamic UI elements are affected. If I create a new Firefox window, the UI elements are again "right-sized". Moving the tabs over to the new window allows me to regain control. Restarting Firefox also works. This problem started when I modified my Sway config to work with an external monitor.
This is my Sway config.
