Hi! I found a strange thing today. I wanted to open an ftp link and firefox asked me in which app I wanted to open it. Of course I wanted to open it in Firefox, but the only app on list was Internet Explorer. So, I added Firefox to the list, but I couldn't open the link with it, because when I marked Firefox and tried to click "open", nothing happend and the box still appeared. So, I ended up using IE. I'm using Firefox Nightly (81.0a1 atm of encountering this).

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

FTP is deprecated and is no longer enabled in Firefox Nightly builds, release builds should still support FTP.

Why are you using that old Firefox 81.0a1 Nightly build (current is 85.0a1) and not the current release (83.0) ?

Thanks for answering! I haven't used ftp in a long time, so I didn't knew about it. And with the version... I don't know how it happend. Nightly was always updating, almost every time I opened the browser, but it stopped and I didn't realize that, before you mentioned it. I had version from 2020-08-16. Strange thing is that when I went to "About" to check what version I have, it said that new version is downloaded and the browser is waiting for restart. I didn't clicked the restart button, but it seams that the browser haven't updated when I closed it and opened it later. EDIT: tried the button, still old version. I'll download the latest installer

Thanks, but I already updated. Ahh, I missed so many while using this old version.
