Firefox 81 PDF reader - Default document name and location while save as

  • Akukho zimpendulo

more options

Hi there !

Since last Firefox update (81.0) on Linux Mint 19.1 While opening a PDF document with built-in PDF reader, when I want to save the document with CTRL+S, the document name, in prior version, was the name specified in request header "Content-Disposition inline;filename='customisedName.pdf'" and since version 81 the name is "document.pdf". The name specified in content-disposition is used when clicking on download icon but saving this way resulting the document was stored in default download directory but with CTRL+S Firefox asking where to save and remember last used folder, so useful !

Is there a hidden configuration for helping me keeping the name of the document while using CTRL+S ? Can anyone confirm it's a regression and could inform developer upstream ?

Thanks for your help
