Excel download from Bank of America coming in as programming language rather than actual data
I have downloaded data from accounts into Excel spreadsheets many times. However, my most recent attempt ended up with pages of programming language rather than the actual data. Spent an HOUR on phone with Bank of America only to be told its a Firefox issue -- their "proof" of this is that I can successfully download using another browser (MS Edge in this case). IF this is a Firefox issue -- it's not clear if it's universal (i.e. any Excel file from anywhere -- or specific to banking, BofA, geography, etc.)
I am willing to send the actual downloaded file to someone at FIREFOX -- I am NOT willing to post it on an open forum.
SMALL RANT: IF this is really a Firefox issue, I don't even know where to start -- as I can't possibly know if it's a programming issue with the new version, or some interface issuen with Bank of America or what. I am SO TIRED of having to "fight" to get ANYTHING to work these days -- everyone has firewalls to prevent you from simply talking to a live human being. AI, Voicemail, two way verifications, etc do not solve all problems. Telling me I can "look on your website" is NOT a solution. (I've usually already wasted considerable time doing that). The problem with all corporations is that you do not value MY TIME at anything. LIKE THIS -- why do I have to post on a forum and hope for an answer?
