Since upgrading to Firefox 79.0.5 for Android there is no longer an option to print. Where has this option gone? When will it be re-introduced?

I used this option multiple times per day and would ask that you once again offer this feature sooner than later. Either that or a way to revert back to the previous firefox verson. I wonder if Chrome offers the save to pdf feature??

Hi, This was a major motive for me to use Firefox as the default browser. Please do not underestimate the importance of having this option. I use it daily to sync the articles I need to read to my document repository. Don't want to pay Adobe $9 for the privilege... Also please consider saving full page in html with content inlined (images, css, etc), that would rock and it is not too complex to do. Thank you, Sorin

@penny7 No, Chrome doesn't do print/save to pdf.

I used "page - print" multiple times every day.

You need to give us this option or another way to print pages while using Firefox.

I will check back here for updates, but i will have to use another browser in the meantime.

Thank you.

The inability to PRINT is a complete deal breaker RIGHT NOW, TODAY.

I'm one of the "older kids" on the playground and have been using Firefox since the day it was born. (I "played on the internet" before it was "the web" that needed browsers). And yeah, I understand tech. Even the new stuff.

So while I most certainly appreciate all the VERY GOOD parts of the new and improved Firefox, and hold Mozilla in high regard, seeing that the "CHOSEN SOLUTION" is no printing right now maybe later... is really NOT a good response.

While focusing on the yes important security issues, you "threw the baby out with the bathwater" (old saying that means you broke a core function that many users depended on because you weren't paying attention to the big picture).

Many android browsers offer very competitive features, but only Firefox used to allow printing. Printing to a PDF file is very important to me.

When will you allow going back to the previous version? I don't need any of the new features.

Mobile Chrome also doesn't have an Option to print. WHY ARE DEVELOPERS DOING THESE THINGS AND LETTING THE USERS SUFFER BY SLOWLY TAKING OUT ONE-BY-ONE SOMETHING THAT ARE NECESSARY FOR EVERY DAY USE?

I have gone back to and updated to the newest version of Chrome. I can print from Chrome on my Android phone by selecting "share," then it gives me an option to use my print app. That option for some reason does not appear in "share" in Firefox.

Didn't wanna go back, but needed the option to print from the Web.

Get it back, Firefox.

For me, menu > share shows a huge list that scrolls left-right. Eventually I found "Samsung Print Service plugin." I think Firefox gives it the URL of the page, which it retrieves directly, so the print/pdf might have different content if the page was customized to you.

Hi there. Filene here. The only proof web content existed IS a printed copy.

The internet archive may allow you to save many pages--if they include it--but they won't allow you to save a copy of your bank account statements. They won't go behind a Washington Post paywall. And most importantly? If your government or news agency is deleting pages or tweets soon after they're created, how can you print proof from your phone before you can access any other method? We cannot rely upon the crumbling Google search when it and other giants are no longer returning the most relevant answer at large, or letting it be removed as it suits black ops.

I'm a stay-at-home mom who used to be full-time techie. I transitioned between jobs, so I'm also poor. My mobile phone is the ONLY device I have accessible to me that can print reliably and on my demand.

This is NOT a problem that can wait--information needs to be saved as soon as it is found, and PDF or hard copies are irreplaceable.

This thread is not even a week old, and it's growing. Firefox and Mozilla need to treat this as problem #2 if #1 was the new release--alongside whatever else they said is problem #2. Don't worry about the UI frustrations with space just yet, get the feature put in and accessible *somehow*.

How could you drop printing from the browser? I'm in shock, I promote Firefox everyday to other people but without the ability to print, they'd just laugh at me. Are you trying to emulate Microsoft by making poor design decisions?

You really do not understand your user community. The print to PDF is probably the most important reason I use Firefox. I am extremely disappointed you developers took this away from us. I can no longer encourage others to use this browser now since we can no longer print. Do you realize how difficult it is to print from an Android device? Firefox use to make this process so easy. I am going to have to look at some other options now since I can no longer print from here.

P.S. Opera supports Print to PDF. Guess this will now be my GoTo Browser.

This version should not have been released without the print feature and the other missing features as well. I also have used Firefox from the beginning and recommended it to a lot of people over the years but can no longer do so. I have installed another browser that I can print from and am extremely disappointed in the need to do so.

For those who need mobile printing, the Android version of Microsoft Edge supports printing natively. You don't need to make Edge your primary browser but what I did was install it and when I come across a page I want to print in Firefox, I click the menu button, click the share button, click the Edge logo to open the page in Edge, then click the edge menu and finally click print.

That's several extra steps but it lets me continue to use Firefox while still being able to print pages on demand.

It's still stupid that Mozilla removed a basic feature like this.

For god's sake, can't you even be patient? Everything needs time to be perfect, and patience is the most important thing you need to do to ensure perfect product quality. It has disappeared but it won't disappear forever. Nobody cares of how frustrated are you. It WILL and MUST take time. If you cannot even stand for this short period, just simply don't use the browser. Nobody forces you to use an application. They recently revamped everything. You should not expect to have everything after a direct re-creation. Windows longhorn took 2 more years to develop after the omega-13 reset and you are complaining about that? Just an example, Windows 98 took 4 years to become perfect (1995-1999), XP took almost 5 years (1999-2004, it is buggy until SP2 or SP3), 7 took 3 years (2006-2009), 10 is still improving. If you not use an app just due to losing only one feature, you are the person who doesn't know how to choose a product the most. I don't care about disliking or hate comments against me since nobody can do anything. You should learn to accept it and wait it to be perfect, not to complain like a moron. I am really pissed of you complaining all sorts of things, from a small bug to losing a feature. This isn't a paradise for you to complain. If you hate Firefox that much, just get the hell out of here. This is a place for you to ask for support, not for you to make all sorts of complaints and express of your opinion. Mate, this isn't a forum. This is an help centre. Think carefully what are you doing. You are wasting your time on complaining, and you are not helping everything. They are fixing it, and complaining doesn't make it faster. Read this carefully. Hope you understand. Seafoxlrt616 A normal Firefox user

This is a major issue. You removed two feature; printing and saving as pdf from firefox mobile. I work in the valley and understand tech very well. This needs to be returned asap. You cannot be removing things that have been out for a while. Lots of people use them.

THIS IS A DEAL BREAKER! I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF YOUR SO CALLED IMPROVEMENTS! WITHOUT THE PRINT TO PDF OPTION THEY ARE WORTHLESS TO ME! I WILL STOP USING FIREFOX RIGHT AWAY! WHAT A STUPID DECISION! I WILL NEVER USE YOUR BROWSER AGAIN UNTIL THE OPTION COMES BACK! VERY DISAPPOINTED!
