Firefox is blatantly inciting racial tensions

Why is Firefox blatantly inciting racial tensions?

For the last few months when I have open up Firefox web browser I keep on seeing news feeds about white people being racist or something about Nazis or what is a bad white woman, it goes on, and ever week there is something bad to say about white people.

It now seems like Firefox along with other Media organizations is purposely trying to incite a racial civil war followed by genocide on white people.

With all that is happening around the world after the killing of, George Floyd it is blatantly plain and clear that Media organizations along with individual members in governments around the world are intentionally blatantly inciting racial tensions along now with Firefox.

When is this going to stop?

Would you Firefox dare to put up news feeds of what is a bad black woman and every week just keep on posting negative news feeds about black people, I know the answer and the answer is you wouldn't dare too because it would be deemed to be racist, well what you are doing now at Firefox is racist and dangerous.

Firefox used to be an independent and non-political web browser free from lobbying and Firefox used to fight for the people and would take all our donations but now it seems that our donations aren't good enough for you no more because now you're used to taking the big money from CNN and other corrupt Media organizations along with individual members in governments around the world to incite a division along with a racial civil war followed by genocide on white people.

I am black and I'm not a racist and I and other good people of color all around the world see what is going on and won't standby and watch you try to use us to commit genocide for your attempt to take over the world, we are not your slaves!

Sorry you're having this problem. You should be able to change what shows when you open Firefox.

1. Click on the three bars in the upper right (lower right on iOS). 2. Select Preferences 3. Select Home

See what's listed under :Home page and new windows." You should also look at "New tabs."

Firefox is only a web browser. It displays what it is told by whatever website you are on.

Hi edwards290ed, are you located in Australia?

The stories in the Recommended by Pocket section of the Firefox Home / new tab page are stories that are popular among Pocket users, but they could be different in different regions -- your tab certainly looks different from mine. I'm attaching a screenshot of the current top 9 stories in the U.S. in a profile that doesn't store any history, so it shouldn't be personalized to me in any way.

Story Selection

According to the FAQ (https://help.getpocket.com/article/1142-firefox-new-tab-recommendations...):

Pocket’s 30+ million global users help guide our curation by pointing us to thought-provoking essays, hidden gems, and fascinating deep-dives from across the web. Editors at Pocket then sift through the most-recommended and most-read stories and handpick the best to share with the wider Pocket and Firefox communities.

Other Avenues for Feedback

I really have no idea how to reach Pocket editors on the subject of which articles are featured, but this forum is not the way. Maybe:

Turning Off That Section

You don't need to use the Recommended by Pocket section if you don't find it useful. See: Customize your New Tab page to hide or display content.
