OK I was stupid!

In an attempt to clean up my windows 10 firefox settings I deleated all the tokins I didnt recognize, that was a lot if not most of them as I have never heard of their names.

Now Firefox will not open any page, saved, history or new always giving the ful page error message (attached).

Please help. I like Firefox, rather a lot but Im typing this on Microsoft Edge!!

Thank you ( I hope)

Hi mervynthree, please ignore the unofficial support solicitation that someone posted. We have no idea where that leads and don't want you to get scammed.

Try to rename the cert9.db file (cert9OLD.db) and remove the previously used cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed to remove intermediate certificates and exceptions that Firefox has cached.
you have cert_override.txt then rename/remove this file as well.

If this has helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert9OLD.db file.
Otherwise you can undo the rename and restore cert9.db.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
