Why has firefox deleted my bookmarks, It's getting as bad as microsoft. Don't ask just screw us over and no answers to fix it. Problem is this bullshit has been going on for years and it is still a problem,why can't this be fixed or stopped. I now have to try and find how to get all my log ins for banking and alot of other important sites. I see below you have some educated guesses, well I don't need guesses I need the problem fixed. I fear downloading from your site as it might destroy more of my system. I don't see no dam window at the top.

Is it that some bookmarks are missing, or the whole of it?

If you have sync, and there is a problem anywhere, Shut Down Sync Immediately On All Devices to prevent the problem from spreading. Once the problem is fixed, perform the same repair on all computers/profiles before using sync again.


[v57+] Places Maintenance is built into Firefox.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

You will find Places Database near the bottom. Press the Verify Integrity button.

When done, copy and post the results here.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
