Sites that use WebGL fail for me on Firefox, and in the 'WebGL 1 Driver Renderer' field of about:support, I see the message:

WebGL creation failed:

  • Refused to create native OpenGL context because of blacklist entry: FEATURE_FAILURE_GLXTEST_FAILED
  • Exhausted GL driver options.

I haven't been able to find information about this error by searching on these forums or the web.

It should be noted that WebGL works fine in Chrome on the same machine.

I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 card, running nvidia-driver-440 from the Ubuntu apt archive.
