<p>These are the files used by Firefox. As long as Firefox can use them, you should be good. I don't know of any third party software that reads those files when you have a Master Password set.

What should I do now to make it safe. I already put a master password and turned sync on and ensured that passwords and bookmark field is checked.

</p><p>IMPORTANT: Do not delete any more files. If you want to replace a file, rename it or move it to a separate folder for potential future use.

<p>These should be treated as a pair, a lock and key. Do you have those files in your older profile folder?
