how do I make my homepage to open when I open a new tab? I was able to before update and now I can't. HELP????
Everywhere I look, it tells me that I have the option of custom url in new tab of options. I do not have that option, only firefox or blank. HELP???

There is no built-in feature to select a custom URL for a new tab, only for a new window.
There are add-ons for that. For example:

I am very supprised to see that it is not possible anymore to customize directly the new tab URL. Consequently, I will strive towards Google Chrome as long as Mozilla persists in this intolerant attitude. Bye Bye.
