Firefox keeps changing preferences for Portable Document Format (PDF) to Save File. I constantly have to change it back to Preview in Firefox.
How can I resolve this issue?

It is possible that this action wasn't created for the correct content type (application/pdf).
Try to rename/remove handlers.json and delete mimeTypes.rdf when present in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed to reset all file actions. See also:

Hi A. Shakouri, is there a pattern to when it changes? For example, when you exit Firefox completely and start it back up again?
There are rational reasons for Firefox settings to change at startup, but changes that occur at random times are troubling and could point toward other culprits.
Also, is this on a computer managed by an IT department, or a personal system?
