Dropdown selection changes before confirmation
When I try to bookmark a website, I am offered a list of most recently used folders (or choose to select from the entire set of bookmarks). If I want to select from the MRU, and click one line, the selection reverts to another line (last used) before I can click on "done". If I am fast enough, I can select the wanted folder, which then becomes the new "default".
Also if I do try to choose and create a new folder in the bookmarks, before I am able to type a character, the dialog box closes immediately and I am left with "New Folder" - which I then have to double click on to edit the name.

The "Save" feature does timeout rather quickly. When that happens click on the blue star to open the Edit this bookmark dialog window.
The problem is the change of my desired selection, with the last used on the MRU list.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.
Happens in safe mode as well. FF is too quick to offer folder selection. Anyway of slowing this down?
