(No research done.) Is there a setting, a value, that can be added in the config. so that Fx doesn't pause videos if you shift view to another tab? I.e. to disable the now default behaviour.

A couple versions ago this was changed, perhaps to increase performance, so that only sound would continue if a user shifts to another tab. In my experience it didn't work well; it took quite some time for the video to resume after returning to the tab, and now, in more recent versions, it simply doesn't start again (play/pause button doesn't work and I have to refresh the page).

Mozilla has been busy adding features; how about maintain a working browser.
