Firefox wont show fullscreen youtube videos on an external display unless opened in safe mode, even with a fresh install and no addons
After updating to version 72.0.1 I am no longer able to watch fullscreen youtube videos through an external device unless firefox is booted in safe mode. I have tried removing all of my addons and even uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of firefox and the issue persists.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
