Hi BlazingReynard, if the extension was highly malicious, it would be blocked (forced to Disabled), but nevertheless, it is a good idea to investigate.

Hi jscher2000, yep that's the one. I used to be able to link to it straight from about:addons. From the "release notes" tab I think but I'm just getting an error message now; "Sorry, but there was an error loading the release notes".

You can check the extensions.json file in the profile folder for the homepageURL of this extension to see if this link still exists in case the extension is still installed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

Hi My_Cheese_Is_Slippin'. That's useful. S3 Translator is on the list and it's by the same author. Hopefully he's inadvertently fallen foul of Mozilla's security policies and it's nothing more sinister.

Too bad that the Blocked List can't sort extensions by Author.

This article Add-ons that cause stability or security issues are put on a blocklist doesn't say anything about all of an authors extensions being temporarily removed for scrutiny but, I suppose it would be prudent.

Most websites that are replaced with the Sever Not Found error message, meaning that the website went dead link. Rogers usually turns the channels off, replaced with "Not Authorized" message.
