Hello there. My problem with Lockwise is that I cannot search/filter saved logins based on password. Before lockwise, I could enter my Master password "ONE TIME" to unlock all passwords and then, use filtering based on the password. This is useful when you use the same password for some of your sites (including but not limited to when you are using a non-domain PC to use multiple web sites controlled by a single domain controller; obviously using the same active-directory password) and you want to filter all of them in the password manager to change them all (well, one by one but still in a filtered list anyway). You support page (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-manager-remember-delete-edit-logins?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=manage-logins-firefox-lockwise-desktop) says that I can but that's not true. It's become ultimately frustrating for me to change my password in LockWise in all sites that use it. I have 265 saved logins but the sites I want to change the password of, are around 20-30. Please help me to find a way to do this. Thank you, Fereidoun Sadr

Note that you can only search/filter for passwords in Lockwise when you do not use a master password.

Hi Fereidoun, Lockwise is built-in as the new interface for your saved logins in Firefox 70, replacing the old "pop-up" Password Manager window. But actually, that window is still available in Firefox 70 if you need it. Here's how you can switch.

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste signon and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the signon.management.overrideURI preference to display a dialog where you can edit the value, delete the entire text, then click OK

If it doesn't work as expected, to switch back to the Lockwise page, right-click the preference and choose Reset.

This is not a solution. You took something that worked well and broke it. I use a standard login name for nearly everything. I have some passwords that are permanent (for less secure things I do not care about) and others that rotate ever 90 days. At 90 days in the past it was VERY easy to just search out the existing password and replace every instance with the new one. The entire update took less than 5 minutes. Now my only option is to search by the username and then go through EACH one and view the password (which maddeningly requires entering the master password each time) and decide if it needs to be updated. In affect you have made this program unusable for me. This needs to be fixed!
