How to recover a failed draft?

In case a draft message can't be saved on a remote server (as with a disconnected net cable) it's "apparently" lost. It's easy to dismiss the error dialog the *wrong* way, and it gets /lost/. You can accidentally even close TB, and there's no sign of that draft -- said better: *I* didn't see *whether* there's an easy "I'm a dumb user, please recover the draft". Because the draft is still there, I found it in my profile directory / Mail / local folders, but it's *not* in UI local folder's draft, not even after restarting. The only way I found is to open it with a text editor and paste it in a new message... I'm surely wrong, this is too silly to be the only way to do it: where's the menu item or button to do it?

P.S: I'm running Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/60.9.0
