Windows Update wiped my Firefox Bookmarks and Passwords etc
Hello
I need help please. My Laptop updated last night/this morning and when I logged back in it had removed the Firefox shortcut and also deleted all bookmarks/passwords/usernames etc for the last 5 years. I’ve spoken to HP but their final advice is to do a system restore but was wondering if anyone could help me get my Firefox from yesterday. I don’t believe I set up an account (bad judgement on my part).
Any help and assistance would be grateful.
Regards
Niamh

There are two possible remedies.
1) Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar.
How many profiles are listed?
How many should be there?
Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
