How to move an email message from Thunderbird to my Lightning Calendar?

I frequently get emails about meetings, events, or other stuff that I need to add to my calendar. The emails frequently include interesting and useful information that I need to include in the calendar entry, stuff like QR codes, addresses, and attachments.

Is there any way to transmogrify the email message directly into a Lightning calendar entry?

In Outlook (my work email/calendar), I can just drag the message to the calendar folder and voila, it pops a dialog where I can quickly set the time, date, subject etc etc and be on my way. I haven't found anything similarly straightforward in Thunderbird/Lightning. Is it possible?

Thanks!

Excellent.Thank you!

I've always had messages open to read and then started rooting around the 'Thunderbird Menu' and the menu bar with (obviously) no luck. I just never tried right-clicking the message in place, in my Inbox.

It should be an entry under the Message menu. Why it's not, after all these years, is a mystery to me.
