I really have no idea what "acting newer" means it is email, the definitions of what an email is have not changed in 20 years. As the looks are based on themes and there are a number of those I still do not know how to approach your comment. What do you mean?

Actually, since I installed Thunderbird I believe it has updated its interface. The e-mail dash now looks similar to my newer e-mail that I transferred. The older looking e-mail was temporary.

I'm really curious as to what old and new means. What was your Old e-mail that looked so new compared to T-bird, and what made T-bird look so old, instead of, maybe, just different? Yours is a very hard issue to address, since its so.... subjective. Its like with me, I love android Messages but hate Fb Messenger. Why? Just me. I don't comment on either, I just go with the one that pleases me. Serious question. Educate me, pls. Best regards
