Amazon moves won't stream.
Amazon moves won't stream. Series episodes stream fine, but not single movies. On Edge they work fine...

This place is really helpful.....?
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Content Blocking is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more details and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console about what content is blocked
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/content-blocking
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data
"Clear the Cache":
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
That's a lot of good information, thank you. However, if you read my question, it only relates to Amazon movies. Any series episode streames just fine. So most of this is of no help. There is something wrong in Firefox that distinguishes between the two.....!
Edge works fine Explorer works fine Chrome works fine.....
¿It's just only amazon the place you can't play videostreaming or there are other platforms like Youtube?, ¿What version of Firefox do you have?

Yep, only place and only individual movies. I can watch any series just fine.
Are there media related messages in the Web Console?
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer

What's a Web Console...?
First, Web Console is in the drop down list what shows when you clik the hamburger icon (3-bar menu button). Its under the Web Developer subgroup. That can be a steep learning curve. Secondly, I've had problems with Amazon caused by using a VPN when streaming (unfortunately you have to kill it and refresh), Ad Block (exempt this site and refresh), and not having Silverlight installed (https://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/). You might try those, beginning with Silverlight. Here's hoping. Good luck
No silverlight. Always turn of VPN. It makes NO SENSE that a movie won't stream but an episode of a series streams fine. Everyone is missing that....
Is this DRM protected content?
When Firefox detects DRM then there is normally an icon at the left end of the location bar.
Try to toggle DRM off/on to see if that makes Firefox (re)load DRM components.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Play DRM
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-drm
Yes and setting is to play them. Also, no different than a series episode which streams just fine...
