On my Mac, my date format is YYYY-MM-DD (e.g., 2019-05-02). Firefox' <input type="date"> control only supports input using mm/dd/yyyy format. It would be nice to see Firefox using the same locale setting that my operating system does, rather than force the formatting that the Mozilla developers think is best.
