I am a developer , i have developed a Matrimonial Site in which bride and groom register. Sometimes some bride or groom are not able to access their profile, like its shows them read only, but when i login with their username and password during the conversation on phone i can see the whole profile editable. This is happening with many ppl. Its giving same error for latest firefox version too. Kindly sort this problem asap. As all my customers are shouting. Thanks in advance.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Hi kedarpawgi, I don't think we have enough information to solve the problem with your site.

Does the site work normally for your clients in other popular web browsers?

Have you checked Firefox's Web Console for error messages? See: https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Tools/Web_Console

The first is always to check the Web Console as posted above. It might be necessary to create specific cookie allow exceptions or enable all third-party cookies as a test, especially if the console shows messages about insecure actions.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Content Blocking is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection

You can check the Web Console about what content is blocked
