There are two bug registered against that crash. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1405381

The only hint I see that they might be chasing down something is talk about the number of tabs open.

Is their anything unusual about your setup? Profile not on a local disk, Windows roaming profiles enabled. lots and lots of fonts installed(I mean thousands not a few hundred)

What anti virus do you use? What video card do you have in Windows? (Help > Troubleshooting information will answer both of those) The system reports you using windows 10 64 bit. Is that correct?

It appears you're using Bitdefender, so I suggest you run in Windows safe mode and see if crashes still occur. If TB runs properly in W10 safe mode, you could add the TB profile folder as an exclusion to BD.

Thank you both.

Nothing unusual. Profile's on local disk. Don't know what roaming profiles enabled means. Doubt I've done it. Haven't installed lots of fonts.

I use Bitdefender Antivirus Plus. Nvidia 1070TI cards. Have used both for a long time.

Re Bitdefender--I've run the program for years with Bitdefender. But I'll try adding its folder to its exclusions and see what happens.

This started a month or so ago; not sure if it was before/after I TB updated.

The problem I think is in the profile. I created a new profile and the crash disappeared. But how do I migrate my email history to the new profile? Perhaps one folder at a time until I find the one that is causing the crash?

Added the exception to BD and TB still crashes.

To move your email from the old to the new profile, I suggest setting up the IMAP accounts and letting the messages re-download to TB. For POP accounts and Local Folders, copy the relevant mbox files from the old locations to Local Folders in the new profile; don't copy old Inbox and Sent folders into the new Inbox and Sent folders.

The default address books, Personal Address Book and Collected Addresses can be transferred by copying abook.mab and history.mab from the old profile to the new one. Other address books can be exported from the old profile as LDIF files and imported to the new one.

Start Windows 10 in safe mode. Do you still see the problem?
