Yesterday, after not having worked on the Arabic Wikipedia for a long time, I tried to edit an article. This had never been a problem in previous versions, but (using the latest Firefox version) when I switched to edit mode, I was confronted with a bunch of gobbledy-gook which contained no editable information. However, when I attempted the same operation in Chrome, all appeared as it should. I am posting the screen shots for comparison:

Problem solved. This is apparently not a Firefox issue, but an issue with "Huruf", one of the add-ons available for Firefox. (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/huruf_letters/). When I disabled "Huruf", the problem disappeared and Arabic text in the Arabic Wikipedia "Edit" mode appeared as it should.
