week view doesn't update when choosing date in mini-calendar

Hi, I just updated Thunderbird to 60.2.1, meaning that the Lightning extension I had was obsoleted. This is on Ubuntu Linux 16.04.1. I used Ubuntu apt to update the extension for Lightning and my calendar's came back. But then I noticed an interesting series of bugs.

1. The calendar tab's name is blank (does not say "Calendar", just nothing.)

2. More seriously, when I click on a date in the mini-calendar, if the date is in another week (in week view), the big calendar does not shift to that week. Only when I press "Synchronize" does it update the calendar display for the time I chose.

This seems to be a bug, is there any way to fix it?

Thanks.
