Follow these instructions on the computer/profile that is not syncing.

We need to look at the sync logs. Type about:sync-log<enter> in the address bar.

Open the last file created and Copy its contents Now Paste it into this forum.

If the file is too large;

Is the file text only? And not huge?

Open a text / word program and load the file. Left-click once. Now <Control> A to highlight everything, then <Control> C to copy it.

Next, have your web browser go to; https://pastebin.com/

Paste <Control> P the content of the file in the window. Note: On the bottom, fill out the boxes as best you can.

Now press Create A New Paste. The page will reload. Copy the new web address, and post it here.

That is what it had for the latest sync. Thanks for helping.

Good work. I called for more help.

Hi there. Have you got any new information about that?

I understand that there are three devices:

PC iOS Mobile Mac Book Pro

First, let's make sure they are all on an updated version of Firefox :) Is the Macbook Pro on Firefox 63 or higher? It looks like it is on Firefox/62.0.3

Second, it looks like the sync is timming out from the logs you have provided. We will want to check why that connection is not being made, once you have updated the Firefox version.

Third there are three places I know we can check to make sure the connection is not being blocked, (I am assuming here that you can connect to other webpages just fine?) but first please remove the Firefox Sync account from the current, open profile and try to get a new login. Click on remove account from Preferences > Sync Then log back in, any issues there?

The connection needs to be enabled for account.services.mozilla.com/

  • Do you have any Firewalls or Anti-viruses that filter web content? Make sure that the url is not being blocked

Looking forward to your reply (logs can have sensitive data, if we run into a syncing issue after the steps above, we can use send https://send.firefox.com/ to share the logs for a consult)

Ok so the macbook was on 63. What do you mean by remove the account?

What do you mean by remove the account?

Close and delete the old sync account. Then create a new one.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

You can try to disconnect and reconnect Sync.

  • Options/Preferences -> Firefox Account
