When using the new website data panel to remove website cookies, they appear to go away as expected. However if I exit the menu and reenter it, the same list of website (cookies) persistantly appear. I have tried: 1. deleting them individually. 2. Completely exiting Firefox and restarting my iPad and deleting them both before and after restart. 3. various combinations of deleting the website data and clearing all private data under the data management tab. 4. I have gone to the offending website, like cnbc.com and deleted the website data while browsing the site.

All to no avail.

On the plus side if I uninstall Firefox, then reinstall it, the cookies disappear. That's seems very tedious if I want to actually protect my browsing history.
